first off.. this review is based on the audiobook.
One thing I noticed that bothered me was the product placements. for example, did she need to grab her "verizon phone", couldn't it just be a cell?
that may not have bothered me if i was reading it.. don't know.
also, the audiobook featured some very cheesy musical inserts. As if the book was saying -- in case you don't know what you should be feeling right now -- we're gonna tell you.
VERY annoying!
and distracting. It also took, what I guess was supposed to be a sincere moment and turned it into a an extremely blow out cheesy moment that was sooooo not believable.

the book had a lot of potential but overall, i was very disappointed.
i didnt think some of the ways the main character reacted to her situation were believable at all.
it fell kinda flat with me.

on the positive side.. i must have liked something about it, b/c i listened to it in one day and i didnt mind being disappointed b/c i got it from the library. lol
