Wow. That was a VERY satisfying ending to what is undoubtedly my favorite series ever. I don't want to say too much so I don't spoil anything for those who haven't read it or haven't finished it yet, but I will say that I wept more than once. I can't put all my feelings into words right now, but I CAN say that I have enjoyed every minute I have spent with Clary, Jace, Simon, Izzy, Alec, Magnus and the other inhabitants of The Mortal Instruments world. I'm kind of glad CoHF was long as heck because I got to spend enough time with it, enough time to say a proper goodbye. I know there are more books to come in the Shadowhunter world, but this is the end of THIS part of the story, the one that started it all. As Magnus Bane once said, "You can have the joy of reading the stories of incredible happenings, or you can be part of the story." Thanks to Cassandra Clare, I feel like I WAS part of this incredible story. She is an incredible storyteller and I will always be grateful that she has shared her gift with the world. Oh, man...I'm crying again...
