What a charming little book!

I loved so much about this autobiography, including (but not limited to):
Julia's cheerfulness,
her sensibility,
and integrity.

I loved the deep friendship and love she and Paul shared.
The way she described food and France and friends.
I was touched by the things she said about her father upon his death, and the honesty with which she spoke about him throughout the book.
I adored le pechon and the abundant dinner parties, etc held there.

I really enjoyed this book and recommend it highly to anyone, but especially to those who find comfort and transformation in the kitchen. This is book you won't soon forget!
