Last year marked my entry into the Enderverse. I began with Ender's Game and immediately followed it with Ender's Shadow instead moving on to Speaker for the Dead, which seems to be the path most people take.
I've just finished the Shadow Series and I'm quite happy with it as a whole. This final book satisfied me as an ending to a series, but it wouldn't stand alone. At the end Card acknowledges all the help he as had from friends and fan, which is perhaps why it satisfies all the little things fans would hope to read.
I felt the first and third books of the Shadow series were the strongest, but this was a nice enough conclusion.
