Reads like Taggart meets Predator, with a bit of 40k by the numbers thrown in for good measure. Some excellent concepts and ideas throughout but all-in-all a lacklustre offering. Having said that, I like that they've varied the focus of the Horus Heresy and would like to see more of the same kind of thing in the future.

Brian Dyer What you think of this so far?

Graham Bailey Good, I'm enjoying it. I've to do a review for the next Uplink. Doesn't read like a Heresy novel is my only complaint but I like the Chaos Assassin thingy they've thrown in.

Brian Dyer Hmm, I'm liking it too. Swung around from an interesting crime story into more standard 40k stuff. Hate the way the Eversor is being done. It's pants.
