Gabriel Huntley is a former Army Captain sailing towards the boring life of a londonite. Armed with only a letter, promise of a job and possible wife, Gabriel sails toward snooze town. After touching ground he stumbles upon a man getting the snot kicked out of him and, never one for bully's, jumps into the fray. Given a cryptic message from a dying man, Gabriel embarks on a mission the likes of which he couldn't fathom.

Huntley, is an honarable, loyal, dominant hero. I loved him.
Thalia was a great match for him in every way. She is far removed from british society and all their rules and proper lady like ways of being... She grew up Mongolian, riding a horse and wearing pants. Suffering a wounded heart and pride, she fights her attraction to Gabriel Huntley.

An interesting take on Magic, Good vs Evil and Romance.

I was able to put this book down multiple times and I wasn't dying to finish. It could just be the reading mode I'm in as nothing seems to be holding my attention except for my bread machine and oven, but I digress. Warrior, was a well paced, well written tale of love and magic. I think most readers would enjoy this captivating tale.

I look forward to Bennett's tale in Scoundrel. What a fitting title :P
