Brandon Hope you enjoy it. The series grew tiresome as it went along. Based on your podcast reviews I think you will pick it apart as I did. Enjoyable but forgettable. Especially as the series progresses.

I reviewed the series as well- it does have spoilers as I was pissed off. So careful if you go. Second post down.

Bohan Ye Surprised you gave it 3 stars, i would have expected a lower score. The first couple of chapters were fairly entertaining after that its was bit of a bore, i was not invested in most of the character and some how it feels as if there were not much at stake. I didnt finish the book.
Edit: nvm, you gave it 2.5 stars.

Tamahome Hmmm, the Sword & Laser guys seem to love it.

Michael I agree with Bohan Ye's comment, there are no stakes.
It feels like a lighthearted feel good fantasy action comedy, in which you never have to be afraid for the protagonists.
Just the book I needed after the grueling, pointless "A Dance with Dragons".
Steven Pacey is a great narrator.
