This was my favorite of the series. I was really sorry to see the series end----and I can't quite believe that there won't be additional books to see the kids grow up and maybe get married and have kids of their own---and then, of course, there's that strange prophecy at the very end---where is that going? It just really seems like the series needs to continue on. I can see a whole spinoff series staring Rachel as the oracle.
I loved how the book tied in Hestia and family. The Luke story was resolved in a very satisfactory way. Percy's wish that was granted by the gods was also very satisfying.
The very beginning of this book was a little confusing---it felt like I had missed something---and that almost a year had passed in Percy's life without adequate background info.
