Interesting summer fluff. Had some cute plot elements and was interesting for the use of a first person narrative that strangely broke down the fourth wall. It was a suitably fast read and had me unwilling to put it down at a couple of points. The Dewey decimal references at the start of each chapter was an interesting touch to reframe the chapter in a context Ally was a tad extreme, but that did not make her totally unrelate-able. Her biggest problem was her juvenile tone on occasion. This could partly be linked with her relatively sheltered life inside the library and away from modern media, but stretched it a bit far.
