it was amazing
bookshelves: aging
Read in February, 2007

This is an excellent look at aging through the use of myth, story, and spirituality. Leder uses these with facility as he draws the reader in to consider how to embrace life's sacred journey. The gerontologist and the storyteller in me are equally pleased by his use of Scrooge's ghost of Christmas past to look at transitions in our lives. This book is out of print, but it is very worth it to anyone who is interested in the field of aging or in broadening their own perspective on life's journey.
