Andy Frankham-Allen You've read it at last? Woo and hoo. What did you think?

Jeannie Mancini HI Andy, well, on the whole I liked it. I think I would have enjoyed it better of course if I hadn't pretty much knew the story before hand. At times I felt that it had the feel of being written by a woman due to the high level of melodrama and touchy feely scenes. I aso felt that it needed heavy editing but maybe in those days they didnt have editors? I finally read it because I have some interesting new Advanced Readers copies of new books just out that spin off around Mina. Which now has me confused because in the original, Mina does not end up becoming a vampire, and has no real relationship with Dracula himself. But we shall see how the spin offs turn out.
I have to apologize for not getting that book out to you that I wanted you to read, Jinn by Matthew Delaney. My store sales are pitiful right now and I didn't realize how much it would cost to get it across the seas to you. The book business here in America is pretty bad for In-store sales due to heavy internet book sales now and the impact of these new electronic book devices. They are killing all independents nationwide. Terrible! take care-Jeannie

Andy Frankham-Allen Unless I'm much mistaken the whole Mena becoming a vampire thing started with the remake of Nosferatu...
