really liked it

(this is an e-book)

Roan and Paris lived in the middle of nowhere. It was a pain but necessary as each month the guys changed. Roan in to a Lion and Par into the biggest, baddest tiger around. They were infected with the "kitty virus" as were millions of people in our country. Most kept to the smaller, nicer felines but some, ah some you just dind't want to mess with.

Running a Detective Agency was a good job for them both. Par could charm the pants off Gramma Whistler while Roan could shoot anyone in a split second. And they are the unwanted kitty crime solvers for the loacl police as well.

The current case was a teen-aged boy who wanted to be a kitty. Danny had run from his home and his parents were seriously worried. Could the guys find him? Of course! Even if it meant visiting the cult of kitty-worshippers: the Church of the Divine Transformation led by their least-favorite person Eli Winters.

This is actually two stories in one. "Infected" is the case of Danny and explains a lot of the kitty virus issues and how they must be dealt with.

In "Prey", Roan is discovering that his lion is much more powerful than he seems and that he (Roan) is acquiring more of the lion's assets as time goes along. Paris is dealing with the news of a heart problem and the fact that his tiger is going to limit his years with Roan. He is also trying to avoid his family. He hasn't spoken to them since he found he was infected and doesn't much want to now.

Ms. Speed has done well, the books flow together nicely and the characters bring out the humor in their situations as well.
