Atlantis Found (Dirk Pitt, #15)
by Clive Cussler
by Clive Cussler
The first few chapters were really interesting, but some of the plot was obvious from the outset.
Dirk Pitt was the character that ruined it for me, I just could not care enough for him despite him being the main character. It might sound harsh but at times it seemed like he was a mouthpiece for the author to progress the plot - if anyone knew what was going on, it was Pitt. After about halfway through, it got really annoying.
I don't intend to finish the novel, I struggled to make it halfway as it is while skipping pages in search for something interesting - with no luck. I might try my luck with another author, I doubt I'll try any more of Cussler.
