What lingers when all is lost? Love

After shiver. came linger. and I must say that I really enjoyed reading these two books. Never a boring part and I like that there are different chapters devoted to different characters of the book (Sam, Grace, Isabel and Cole) and it's written so well that it really made me feel as if they’re real people, not fictional characters. I couldn't help pick up on how Grace begins the story and Sam ending it in the same manner, speaking about what is going to happen/what has happened in their own style. The way the characters speak, their choice of words, insignificant actions spoke loudly of their personality e.g. one instance where Isabel taking Sam’s tea without asking him, and then there is Sam folding paper cranes, Grace wishing for a red coffee pot. Maggie Stiefvater really did a great job with character build and her quality of writing is just marvelous.
