** spoiler alert ** This was not one of the best in the series. The focus was off Stephanie and her family and put on Vinnie. I like Vinnie as a side character and in theory, but surrounding the entire book around him was a little overboard. Mooner played a big part, and once again he is good as a sometime character, but not the entirety. The tension was not there as well with Ranger and Joe, as Joe was in it by limited time, and Ranger accepted defeat too well. I have liked all of the books, but the last couple have made me think that something big needs to shakeup the series. Overall it was okay to listen to, but seemed very short.

Jodi My problem with the series is that there is little to no character growth. I actually liked the more serious side to this book but it lacked sizzle.
