This book has been reviewed everywhere by everyone, almost always positively and I have little to add to the encomiums that accompany it.

"King Leopold's Ghost" is not only a good place for someone who knows little about sub-Sahara Africa to start, it is often cited in academic texts, validation of its method and conclusions by a very meticulous group.
