** spoiler alert ** Hmm, this one was disappointing. In comparison to others, it did seem little slow and boring. There were plenty of deaths, action not as great. There was also a lot of down time to reflect which was slightly dull.

- Some cute exchanges with Eric and Sookie. They're in a relationship and I kinda like it, much better than book 4.
- Eric's history is told. Finally hear about his human life and how he was turned into a vampire.
- Fairy family history was interesting.
- Octavia leaving. It was due time.
- Scenes with Niall and Sookie. I like their relationship.
- Finding out that twist with Sookie's parents' deaths.
- Sookie = badass fairy killer.

- Eric took it into his own hands to marry her without letting her know. Although I gotta say Sookie was dense for not asking what the bundle was.
- Arlene. Ugh. Also those stupid FotS people.
- FBI and their inquiries about the Rhodes incident.
- Sookie talking endlessly about whether the bond is making her feel certain ways.
- Not enough Bubba or Pam. WHY?!
- Crystal murder mystery wasn't that intriguing to me. I hated her, she was such a bitch but it was cruel how she and the baby were killed.
- Not a lot of Sam but what parts he did have were boring. I don't care for his family.
- Bill continuing to pine after Sookie.
- Tray's death. He's a good guy, not fair.
- Claudine's death. I'm so sad about that since I liked her character.
- No more Niall?! Fail.
