Meg Langslow's house is full of students and house guests, because the boiler at Caerphilly College has broken down completely and everyone needs someplace warm to stay. Met hardly notices because she's eight and a half months pregnant with twins, and spends much of her day taking naps. But when an obnoxious dean of the English department tries to shut down the play one of Meg's husband Michael's graduate student is producing as part of his doctoral program, Meg gathers her considerable forces to fight back. And when a body turns up, Meg can't help overhear a few things that she just has to share with the chief of police.
