This tale covers the summer spent between cousins living together on Prince Edward Island in the late 1800's. Their ages range from 9 to 14. The delightful descriptiveness of the author keeps you coming back to live among them and experience their everyday lives and concerns. A huge thank you to Forgotten Books for reprinting this classic. 365 pages.
