Wizard Harry Dresden is hired as a police consultant in a bizarre murder at the Lincoln Zoo in Chicago. This is part of the ongoing Dresden Files series, taking place prior to the events of the first novel. I found Welcome to the Jungle to be a fast paced, exciting adventure. The format limits the amount of subplots and details that a novel contains, but nevertheless the characterizations seem to be a little more fleshed out than in other graphic novels of this length. The artwork is a good, solid journeyman effort.
