This book I listened to on tape and at first I found the Irish accent hard to understand, but I got used to it. I have to admit I read the first in this series a year ago not knowing what type of book Nora Roberts writes. I just knew she was a popular writer and this was a book about vampires that sounded interesting. So I was a little shocked at some of the content found in Morrigan's Cross, not having expected it.

Since this was a book on tape I just skipped parts I didn't want to listen to especially since I only listened to it doing the dishes and children occasionally came in the kitchen to ask for things (and to eat!).

As far as the story goes-at most it is worth 3 stars. I want to find out the ending of this story so I guess I'll have to read/listen to the 3rd one.
