Will Grayson, Will Grayson is not about coming out as gay. It’s not exactly about staying securely in either. It’s about discovering that some friendships have an obscure chemistry that you love to hate, but ultimately have to love. It’s about the bumpy road of relationships--romantic and otherwise--where nearly every first mistake is made and somehow lived through.

Tiny Cooper is the biggest and outest they come. His friend, Will Grayson, is not. Will lives by rules that keep him safe and relationship-free. But wait, there is another Will Grayson who resides five hours away and lives only for his daily IMs with Isaac. Throw in straight members of a GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) and a musical written and performed by Tiny. Shake and stir (but not explicitly), and you’ve got a rich cast of characters with authentic voices and a truly, satisfying page-turner.
