Anthony Bourdain's latest, written 10 years after Kitchen Confidential, is another acerbic romp through his world, with his usual high-spirited and irreverant commentary on the culinary world and its people. He lets us know just what he thinks of some well known personas (Alice Waters --mixed review, Frank Bruni - thumbs down) and instituions (Food Network -another mixed review) As much as I liked Kitchen Confidential, I tired of Medium Raw. Not sure why, because I certainly enjoy Anthony Bourdain and his adventures on The Travel Channel and Medium Raw, just like KC, is pure Bourdain.
