After school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons, Brandon has to go to Hannah's house. Watching TV--Brandon's preferred activity--never happens because Hannah's imagination is always at work concocting scenes for Hannah, Brandon, and Hannah's giant cat Buttercup to perform. When a chihuahua moves into the neighborhood, he and his over-protective owner are constant irritants. The book is episodic and just right for those readers beginning short chapter books.
