bookshelves: amazing, memoir, musically-inclined

This book was so FUN! The author, a former interviewer for Rolling Stone and VH1 V.J., has written a book that is combination primer for journalists dealing with celebrities (especially rock stars) and personal memoir of a regular person. I laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the celebrity stories (you have GOT to read about her interview with Barry White!), but even more, I loved the stories about her childhood and family. By the end of the book, I wished that I could hang out with Dunn in real life. I also want to be friends with her sister, Heather. And her mom sounds really cool, too. And so on... Highly recommend, especially for any child of the 1980s who was a rock n roll chick!
