Sweet lord I love this book. I also love the mini-series even more. This is one of the only Civil War books I will read again, if even once. It is such a true war romance story if I have ever read one, along with a whole lot of family drama and even a little bit of incest. This is the only book in the series I have read. I tried to read the others but they did not flow as smoothly as this one and were also not as engaging. But I would definitely recommend this one. As well as the mini-series.
