I really enjoyed seeing Christopher Moore stretch his legs and give us more time span within a book than he usually did. His books typically cover a couple days to a month, and this one managed to span multiple years.
I enjoyed revisiting old friends like The Emperor, Minty Fresh and Jody, as well as meeting new ones. Also, I just absolutely loved the cover for the book. :)
Also, even though I really am not a dog person, I would love to have that pair of hell hounds Sophie has. :)
