Actually, this is my second read. Using this in class next year. Fantastic, well-written theology text (yes, that isn't an oxymoron): interesting, goes where most theologians don't (science and NDEs), yet very faithful to and conversant with the tradition. As the author says, it is mostly a book about dying well as a Christian.
