Kolleen's Reviews > Grave Sight
by Charlaine Harris
bookshelves: ghost-stories, murder-mystery
Grave Sight is a book about Harper Connelly, a woman who has been struck by lightning and is now able to find the graves of missing dead people. The book has a great premise, and I was super-pumped to read the entire series, but I can tell you from here, the series ends now for me.
The book wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. The premise of the book was a lot better than it actually turned out to be, and the characters just seemed a little too weirdo strange for me to really like them. Harris kept true to all of the raunchy sex and murder mystery plots that consume her Sookie books, but somehow when vampires and werewolves are not involved, they just seem ridiculously raunchy (hey, at least raunchy vampire sex seems plausible).
All in all, an okay book, a quick read, and a little bit fun, but I wouldn't go much further than book 1.
