I need to say how much I love Cindy Gerard and the way she writes. Her books are so fast-paced, chock full of intense violence and even more intense romance. The characters are so well-written with carefully crafted backgrounds that you can really relate to.

This book was the second in her Black Ops series and follows the story between quiet military man Sam Lang and Vegas dealer Abbie Hughes. A few months ago, Sam's sister and brother-in-law had been killed by a car bomb planted by a terrorist Sam was following. Abbie's brother gets caught up in this terrorist's plan and kidnapped. Sam knows about Abbie and her brother and sets out to capture her heart to then get to the terrorist. Unfortunately, things go a little haywire and Sam and Abbie end up in Argentina, chasing after this terrorist and trying to free her brother.

This book was simply amazing. Her romantic thrillers are some of the best I've ever read. She's a rock star.
