** spoiler alert ** So no men are good enough and she needs a fake man who grew from her precious broom? How lame. The premise of this story was pretty silly anyway, since the importance of CHILDREN in the children's story was sort of thrown out the window. Tsugele may not see any men good enough for her, but she does see a family that loves her. Can she not change her perspective a little and see that her father is a man, though perhaps not perfect, but he managed to love his wife and daughter and make a happy home for them? And doesn't she want children herself? Tsugele has a very bad (and obviously modern--this is not a classic folktake) attitude.
