The story in this book is much the same like the previous book, instead the heroine is a vampire, and the hero is a mortal but with special ability

Darcy Newheart, is a newly turned vampire (she turned 4 years ago), and once a part of Roman's harem member (Roman is hero from . When Roman get married so the harem is dismissed. The harem's member is desperate of course, without new master, they cant do anything, so Darcy take a step forward. She apply as an anchor for DVN (Digital Vampire Network), but the producer give her a new show instead, The Sexiest Man in The Earth ( I know, its sound silly).

Austin Erickson, he had appeared in first book, as a member of Stake Out Team, and now he is assigned by his boss to infiltrate DVN, to learn about Vampire's existence with the purpose to eliminated them. He join the show, The Sexiest Man, and get hooked when he see Darcy. He think Darcy is a poor mortal, trapped in vampire world. Darcy think, Austin is her Apollo, a sun god (yes really), because he is interpreted all the thing that Darcy missed when she is human.

So, imagine when Austin know Darcy actually is a vampire, and Darcy found that Austin join the show to infiltrate the vampire world and endangered her friends. But the show must go on, and can Austin accept the fact that Darcy is vampire, even though he admit, that he love her...

I laugh when I read this. This book have some nice humor,the story is easy to read, no need to much thinking. My complaint is there are not some action act in this book like the first (like the war between Tha Vamps, the good vampire, and The Malcontents, the bad vampire). We both introduced to Darcy's past, why she become a vampire, and get a little bit info about Connor Buchanan, the bodyguard in Romatech Industries. We also introduced to all Roman's ex harem member, while they're so funny (some still have her old way of clothes, and act like drama queen)...

Then ending is one I'm expected, but it still good. Looking forward for the next book , that featured Angus MacKay, the head of MacKay Securities and Emma Wallace, a female member of Stake Out Team.
