it was ok
bookshelves: fiction, supernatural
Read from July 25 to August 03, 2010

Initially I liked this book. The writing was decent and the story line was interesting. But then I began to lose respect for Jacob, the main character, and began to dislike his girlfriend Ophelia (Oh). In the story, Jacob allowed his girlfriend, Oh, to use him and treat him like dirt because she was pretty. Oh please! Even if her behavior did deteriorate because of their situation, it is still ridiculous for him to allow her to treat him that way. The story ended OK, but listening to their relationship was very annoying for me and the reason for the 2 stars.

But I'm really starting to dislike Oh's character and I'm losing respect for Jacob's character for allowing a girl to manipulate him, use him and treat him like dirt just because she's pretty. It's enough to make me stop reading the book, but I won't. I'll finish it."
