AGH! I read this a while ago but completely forgot to write a review when finished, now I can't remember enough to do it justice! I do remember the heroine is very plain, verging on dowdy. The hero hates all whites with a passion but is drawn to the heroine because of her intense loyalty to the children she has been entrusted with. Her naivete concerning the relationship between whites and Indians was so rose-colored it became gratingly unrealistic. I do remember I enjoyed it, although there are other Karen Kay books I liked better.

Nope, but I saw the pictures and you told me how nice you thought she was. That's why I ordered these books. I have really enjoyed them and plan to order a couple more. Do you keep in touch with her?
I haven't, but I planned on trying to get together to do lunch or some such thing after the kids are back in school.
On my TBR list. My very long TBR list. Maybe now that I'm not doing as many reviews for you know who... then I can get to 'em. Which one do you like best?
I've only read two so far (I have more ordered). I liked them both but if I had to choose, probably "Night Thunder's Bride". I didn't realize it at the time but it was the 3rd in a 3 part series so there were character's I knew I had missed out on (I ordered the other two) but it didn't detract from the story at hand.
