Kitchen Privileges: A Memoir
by Mary Higgins Clark
by Mary Higgins Clark
If I had seen this was written by Mary Higgins Clark, I probably wouldn't have chosen it. I'm glad I picked this audio book by it's cover/title. I didn't know anything about her as a person - I'm just not a fan of suspense books. But her life story was captivating. A real pull yourself up by the bootstraps, do what you have to do to survive, average Jane makes *really* good story. There's something particularly sweet about the story being told by its author as well.
