This is book 4 in the Buchanan series, about Alec Buchanan and Regan Hamilton. First off I thought I wasn't going to like Regan but as the book progressed my first assumption was completely wrong. Regan turned out to be a perfect heroine at least to me. I really liked Alec as well but what I found in this book was that it was mostly all about Regan. That fact didn't bother that much but I did think it was a little odd. I had stated in my review of Killjoy that I thought it was all about the Suspense more than it was about the romance and in this book I felt the same way. The Romance wasn't lacking at all it still had power and held its own in the book, but it was very different from the others. I liked that they had time and a real believable time frame to get to know each other and be friends first. It was a very refreshing to me because I'm reading this series back to back without an breaks, and it's awesome to see an author who can change things up in every single story to give you a new look on each love between each HEA. My one and only qualm with this story and it not a very big one because who know in the future I might just get a great big surprise, was that there wasn't a good enough anything when it came to Aiden and Cordie. I will keep my fingers crossed!!! This book is definitely worth the read and I highly recommend it along with the whole series.
