This is a fascinating look at those types of people who think there's a secret, shadowy organization ruling the world. The author doesn't demonize these people, but instead befriends them and tries to figure out what they're really all about. I strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in society's fringe elements, and their associated paranoias.

This book reminds me of Douglas Adams' "Last Chance to See", in writing style, and in the way he captures dialog. Except, instead of flying all over the world to see endangered animals, Ronson is flying all over the world to see unusual people with unusual beliefs.
