This book follows the author's journey after being left at the altar and his later decision to extend a "honeymoon" with his brother to a two-year global excursion. While Weisner's description of his personal life is often bland and forced, his vibrant descriptions of each new place he travels more than makes up for this early self-reflection. I recommend skimming any section revolving around his California life and pausing to savor each new section on his travel adventures. It'll make you want to explore dozens of new places around the world! (My new favorite is Syria--can't wait to go! :)
