This is my second BDB book, and I have to say they just keep getting better and better. The writing style and world building is excellent, and the characters are as good as you will ever get.
Mary is pretty cool, and Rhage is a sexy Man-beast...The tension and conflicts between them, as well as the tenderness, is very real and very well written. J.R. Ward has an amazing way with developing her characters, after a while you really get to know them. Also what I love is that each member of the BDB is a strong character in every book...they don't suddenly become cardboard flat after they get their HEA. Also, the way she sets up Zsadist's story has me impatient to read on as soon as I can. I would recommend the series to everyone who loves paranormal or romance.
