I thought that Storm Glass was pretty good, but Sea Glass is much better. I liked seeing Opal sticking up for herself and becoming the tough chick she was always meant to be. I think it was time for her to finally say "enough is enough" and get on with it. Opal is betrayed so many times by so many people that she really starts to depend only upon herself.
The writing style and world building is wonderful, exactly what I would expect from Maria Snyder. There was one side trip(to Bloodrose clan) that I thought was a little disconnected from the main story, but I still loved everything about this book.
