Great book! This is the story of a village that is surrounded by a zombie filled forest, with a chain link fence seperating the dead from the living. The village is strictly run by 'The Sisterhood' and the common knowledge is that they are the last ones on Earth untouched by the zombie apocolypse. After the Unconsecrated (that's what the zombies are called throughout the book, I'm pretty certain the word 'zombie' wasn't mentioned once) breached the fence, Mary knew she must escape.

There was so much action throughout this book. Zombies are terrifying creatures, and Ryan did not sugar coat them. I was so anxious to find out what would happen with Mary and her posse, and I will be reading the next in the series ASAP.
