** spoiler alert ** For Austen fans, it might seem strange to read a book where we already know the ending, because this is Sense and Sensibility told from Colonel Brandon's point of view. That said, I enjoyed actually "seeing" Colonel Brandon's background and earlier life (including what actually happened when he dueled Willoughby), and I felt Grange sketched Marianne beautifully. However, it loses a star because there were some sections where Brandon's voice didn't feel "natural" -- pretty important in a diary.
