Angels And Demons
by Dan Brown
I read "Angels & Demons" first and found it rather blah. Then I heard that "The Da Vinci Code" was basically the exact same book, so I never bothered with it. Not a big fan of Dan Brown.
Yup, me neither. If it can be believed, I hear from my husband that Digital Fortress is even worse because the symboligist is thrown into some sort of nuclear espionage situation. Totally feasible.
I "read" this (book on CD) a few years ago, and I was laughing out loud in the car the whole time. It was possibly the most ridiculous book I've ever encountered. I actually groaned at the end, at the line about "well, I guess you've never gone to bed with a yoga master". Ugh. I hear they're making a movie out of this one, too.
What. I can't believe that. I didn't think anyone actually liked The Da Vinci Code movie, that is, who did not add liquor to their sodas ...

Would recommend: Not really
Eerily, pathetically similar to The Da Vinci Code, which I read first, even though I know that Angels and Demons was written before the other. I'm swearing off Dan Brown.
