I never thought I'd find a zombie book that would make me want to cheer for the Zeds, but Becker did it with this book. Jack, the professor zombie, finds himself able to still think, read, and write after being resurrected. He can't, however, resist the temptation to eat brains (and other organs, but especially brains.) As he shambles through unlife he meets (and sometimes creates) a gang of other "super-powered" (normal-powered by human standards) zombies. Their motley undead crew is trying to get to the creator of the zombie virus in Chicago, and they meet and eat several interesting people along the way.

Funny and gore-filled, this book almost made me welcome the zombiepocalypse.
