Again, I understand why this book has remained so popular for two hundred years. There's lovable characters, despicable characters, funny characters, tragic characters (all of them memorable), a good twist, and a confident, self-assured lead -- maybe a little too confident and self-assured. Miss Woodhouse would be better off if she stopped meddling in her friends' love lives!
