While it offers some interesting stories and profiles of such legendary figures as "Buffalo Bill" William Cody, Annie Oakley, Thomas Edison, Gustav Eiffel, the Van Gogh Brothers and others, this book is strangely disjointed with no real purpose and connectivity. If you want a profile of a world's fair, read the much more fascinating 'Devil in the White City'. The Eiffel Tower deserved more.
