really liked it

Nicely thought-out universe & sympathetic characters.
I do have a question, though.
Why are "smart" females always lousy at needlework in these kind of books?

Marielle Yeah... I've noticed that too. It actually doesn't really make sense, since some of the smartest women I know are into that sort of thing. Like, a friend who is an applied engineering physics major at Cornell also enjoys cross stiching in her free time- a physics major friend enjoys knitting and made me a very cute hat.
