Three Weeks To Say Goodbye
by C.J. Box

I've never read C. J. Box before. Never even heard the name until a lady in my book club recommended him. This book is tough. Swear words and violence. No sex. The reason I gave it four stars is that I couldn't wait to get to the end! That's a good recommendation for any book.
A nice and respectable couple in Denver has adopted a wonderful and happy child, now nine months old. Suddenly there are people who want to take the baby away from them! There was a problem with the paperwork, and the unthinkable has happened.
Can they keep their baby? Are these other people truly evil? Can regular folks fight a powerful, influential and experienced member of Denver's high society?
Lots of drama and LOTS of police action. This is a thriller, for sure! Scary, frustrating, but intriguing.
