I enjoyed this book more than I thought. The book is much better than the movie. In the book you are more in Nanny's head and therefore are better able to see and understand her struggle with her job. Mrs. X is a very frustrating character. She has so many resources but she can't see what her son really needs. She seems to think the world completely revolves around her. The end of the book nearly broke my heart!

I was very frustrated with the ebook publication of this book. I realize that scanners make mistakes but don't publishers have proof-readers on staff! I am sure even interns would have been able to easily fix the hundreds of errors in the e-publication of this book. It was very frustrating to have to re-read sentences all the time to be able to understand the story.
