I first read this book in July of last year, and at that time, placed it firmly on my Keeper Shelf. I just re-read it, and I am happy to say that my feelings are unchanged. Even though it's not free of problems, it's still one of my favorite go-to stories when I feel like a re-read.
Despite the problems with this book, it's still a highly enjoyable, easy historical to read, and was exactly what I was in the mood for. 4.5/5 Stars, and I look forward to picking up the rest of the books in the series.
